Pensions 2000: Public Attitudes to Pensions and Planning for Retirement
Research Report No. 130
By Victoria Mayhew
This report presents the findings of research to explore the attitudes of the working age population towards pensions and retirement. The research examined the type of pension provision and savings that people had, and awareness of, and attitudes towards, stakeholder pensions. It is based on a survey of almost 1700 adults in Britain aged 16 and over, who were interviewed using the National Statistics Omnibus Survey in Spring 2000.
